Gender Bias

First of all, b4 anyone starts to perasan.

This post is not referring to anyone in particular.

Just something that I will never get.

Like EVER.

Since even in primary school this has been dead obvious in Malaysia especially.

Lets say.

This girl scores 5As for her UPSR, and this boy managed to get only 4As.

But somehow, only God knows why.

The chances of the boy getting into boarding school is much much higher.

It has always been easier for boys to get into anything since like forever.

Everyone should get equal opportunity regardless of how mens population is slightly lesser.

Kalau da x berapa pndai tu what to do.

Nasibla.

Its kinda unfair to that girl who have worked her ass off to get straight As so that she can go for boarding school.

Due to that "express pass" the boys get, they dont have to work as hard as the girls.

And its still happening up to now.

Lepas da habis skola, keje pulak.

Especially in the field that im in.

Engfuckineering.

Like what the hell am i doing in the engineering line.

Like really zetti?

It has always been obvious that in engineering male is the dominator.

And us girls the minority.

But nowadays,

the number is becoming almost equal between the male and female students.

Because again.

Boys kan da used to the "always got away with everything" theory.

So no effort needed.

And there.

Jadi penagih dadahla, rapistla.

Im not trying to be bias myself right now, but that is the reality.

Gender bias is everywhere.

For my case,

when i was doing my practical training.

This is one of the thing that ruined my mood to go to work everyday.

If its not obvious,

i really dont give a damn.

You expect the girl to perform as good as the guy.

But was there even chances given to the girl?

There was this once, our boss had to go to somewhere for one of our project.

He keeps on asking Azmi whether if he have a driving license.

Like as if i dont even exist there.

Like hello!

I have a license.

He had to go to that particular place at wee hours and

he needed a company so just because im a girl,

im not even a choice to ask?

And again im still almost inexistent there at the office.

Even after volunteered and saying that i can actually go, am still not a choice.

Sigh.

If i am to be transferred to Mars, will there still be inequality?

Cus if not, pls take me to be one of ur citizens Mars-ian.
