Kia Ora

Okay.
I'm back, believe it or not.
As promised,
I'll be updating on my trip to OZ/NZ last november/december.
*Macamla beribu orang baca pon belog ne siap nak as promised*
Anyways, end of Nov last year mom, mira and me decided to go to Melbourne for our family yearly trip.
Well, initially the trip was meant to attend my baby cousin's wedding,
but since it's been awhile since the last time we step into the land down under,
so why not!
So yeah, luckily we have core leave in hsbc,
which is a 10 days straight leave.
Love!
So we made plans and all, and my aunty, the mother of the bride, decided that we should spend a week in NZ instead of just lepaking in Melb for two weeks straight
since we have already been there before.
And yeah, why not!
Who wouldn't wanna go to the land of the Lord of The Ring and
missing the chance of bumping into SBW?
I don't think so!
But we were still unsure because Christchurch was stroked with earthquakes for quite several of time at that time.
So the plan was left pending for awhile.
*dissappointed*
On October I think, a month before we supposed to fly to Melb we finally decided to proceed with our NZ plan.
Yeayyyy!
Sonny, I'm coming for you baby :)
Basically, when we were there in Melb,
everything were in a rush because everyone was busy preparing for Izzah's wedding.
Omg, the wedding was phenom!
It seriously made me wanna get married like instantly.
The venue was beautiful, the ceremony was intimate and sweet, the food was awesome.
Semua lah breath taking!
So happpy for Izzah and Amang.
They're so cute together :')

So yeah a day after the wedding, off we went to NZ.
We took Air New Zealand, and it was a small plane, two rows with three seats each.

Homg.
I have never experienced turbulence that bad!
I seriously for a second have doubt that the plane is going to even land.
So keluarlah semua surah bagai kan.
And yeah, after three hours we landed safely.
Thank god!
*Pheww*
Kia Ora New Zealand!
We arrived in Christchurch at 2-3 am, perut lapar gile, badan penat but we still have to start our journey because we cannot waste even a minute there. Huhu
First impression, dalam-dalam gelap tengok Christchurch,
the town look a bit dead,
well maybe because its 3 friggin am.
Slept through, well not really,
if you think going to genting or cameron or fraser hill is that crooked (is crooked even the right word for bengkang bengkok?),
try driving in NZ.
Seriously can't even sleep in the car.
So after few hours of driving,
uncle stop and parked at this train station since it is still dark and too foggy
so that everyone can have a rest or better sleep in that case.
As soon as the sun started rising,
I was just lost in words.
The view around us, with all the snowy mountains, my god,
Allah have definitely made an awesome place for us to live in.

It is too beautiful that you just can't stop saying MasyaAllah.
Arghhhh cantiknyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So we continue our journey to our destination,
Franz Josef, the world famous glacier walk.
Stayed at a cabin house, spacious and comfortable,
and most importantly awesome view.
The next day, went to our most highlighted activity,
which is climbing the Franz Josef glacier.
Heard stories from my aunty who have been there before that it's not gonna be easy.
So all the mak cik-mak cik and even me got a little bit nervous.
Yer, saya bukan orang yang minat benda-benda adventurous ne.
Want to try but not preferable.
So went to the station to register ourselves and get all the equipments and whatever else needed for the climbing and a bus will come pick us up and take us to the bottom of the glacier.
Well there are actually two ways to experience the glacier,
one is by climbing and the other one is by a heli.
Which cost you even more.
Oh bear in mind, to those who plans or thinking of going to NZ,
you seriously need to spare a lot of cash for you to be able to try the activities there.
One activities usually will cost you around 100 dollar=200+ ringgit
Yes, its that costly.
So back to the glacier.
We started off with 5 excited and nervous at the same time young and not so young ladies.

We were being given a super heavy boot, a crampon,
a bag to keep the crampon because we will only be using it when we are at the glacier,
a rain coat, socks and gloves.
I seriously felt like I'm carrying an obese baby on my feet,
because no kidding the boot was really really really that heavy.
The bus came and took us to Franz Josef and our activity started with a 10 minute walk in the jungle, its just 10 minutes right?
But with the crazy heavy boots on,
it feels like forever.
Everyone dah start pancit dah especially all the mak-mak.
Finally when we reached at the bottom of the glacier,
sakit kaki tu hilang sekejap.
Before this nampak from far je, now I'm at the bottom of it.

Words can never describe how awesome it was to even be there and witness such creation.
And yeah, out of 5, only me and my sister made it to the glacier.
All the mak-mak surrender even before climbing it.
-_-'
The boot really made everything even harder and the pain, my god,
rasa macam nak tercabut je kaki.
So me and mira got the chance to feel and be surrounded by the glacier,
regardless how tired we were,
but the experience was just priceless.

'

Okay.
I think this post is a bit too long.
After the glacier we head straight to Queenstown and then to Dunedin.
Well the rest of our days there were filled with really fun activities and of course one of it includes shopping!
Borong2 barang All Blacks.
Got abah a world cup official shirt and Azmi an All Blacks jersey for his birthday ;)
Ohh and my most favourite place of all,
and a serious must go is the blue pool.
Omg birunye sungai tu.
Sungai ye biru, bukan laut.
So sila pergi melawat ke Blue Pool.
Too bad didnt get the chance to bumped into Sonny,
sigh,
but maybe next time,
to the North pulak insyaAllah.
Maybe I should just wrap this post with photos.
So enjoy!
:D
