Okay lets finish this up!

So finally gerak pon pegi labour room T_T, sampai-sampai nurse masukkan ubat lawas then bagi baju uniform beranak *worse OOTD*. Dalam toilet menggigil dah menahan contraction sambil mengeluarkan apa yang patut. So in the labour room husbands can accompany you, I finally have Azmi right by my side to help me go through the contractions. Then nurse tanya nak epidural ke, that time I seriously cannot tahan the pain already, its not even tolerable so I said YES! Then nurse tanya, tak nak tanya ke side effect die and all. So we were like "okayla, ape eh side effectnye?". Tibe-tibe lepas dh bgtau side effect tu dalam hati dah takut-takut dah sebab ade effect sampai ke otak tapi mulut cakap "Okay, still nak epidural". LOL. SO the nurse went out to prep for epidural, agak lama la jugak around half an hour, waktu tu dah naik lenguh genggam tangan Azmi then I asked him to genggam my hand as kuat as possible. Dah tak berdaya dah nak pegang kuat-kuat tangan die. Then the nurse came back telling me that she's gonna check my opening first, tengok-tengok I am already at 7cm and the nurse said she will help me to open up to 8cm which was a bit painful. So its kind of too late for happy-dural or else bazir je nanti cus I have few more cm left. My gynae was still nowhere to be seen as he was still on his way to the hospital. My gynae already went back home (Kajang) when the nurse told him that I am already going into labor but I guess he assumed that I won't be going into labour anytime soon. SO die sempat la mandi-mandi bagai dekat rumah dulu until the nurse called him to informed him that I'm already at 7cm. Terus di pecut nya ke hospital, langgar segala bump yang ada katenye. Haha so cute Prof Hashim :'). Till the point that I could not tahan to push which feels like membuang air besar yang tak tertahan, my gynae was about 5 mins away from the hospital. Seriously, 5 mins felt like ages! Actually ada je doctor yang standby but of course la I want my gynae to sambut, even the nurse pun suruh I tunggu Prof Hashim if possible. Nurse suruh baring mengiring so that I don't start pushing. And finally, sampai pon gynae. And bile dah ready for pushing, tiba-tiba dah tak brape nak ada contraction sangat. Saje je kan baby ne, main acah-acah dia. Of course during all these, bius telah pon diberikan, so whatever happened down there I didn't even feel anything. Especially when my gynae cut the birth area to the side a bit or also known as episiotomy. Dapat tahu pon bile Azmi yang cakap and bile dah selesai jahit bagai T_T. Oh I had to opt for vacuum, actually tak mintak pun terpaksa jugak sebab the baby was not in the right position. Her face was facing upwards, meaning shes facing my stomach when she supposed to be lookin downwards. Which is why my gynae had to use the vacuum to pull the baby safely. When I was about to push, there were only two nurses and my gynae in my labour room. Tetibe tak lama lepas tu came in 2-3 more nurses giving me direction and support. Rasa macam tengah in a competition pulak, sume duk bersorak bagai :'). Kind of segan but segan was the last thing on my mind at that moment, just want to get my baby out as soon as possible.

And finally, at 9.45 pm my baby made her way out! And Azmi was the one to cut the cord. Sessi perasmian katenye. Haha. First thing my gynae said to me " Patutla susah nak keluar, tersekat dekat pipi" cus my baby weighed at 3.77kg which surprised me and my gynae. Because my last check up we estimated the baby to be around 3.5kg based on her last estimated weight. One thing for sure, our baby is one very LOUD baby. She have got to be the loudest baby in the nursery. I very terasa di situ because somehow I feel like she got that from me. Then terjadi lah sesi menjahit and of course tak rasa sebab dah bius tapi waktu tu dah tak kisah sebab tengah sibuk skin to skin contact dengan baby. One precious moment that I will never forget. To finally be able to hold that baby you have been carrying for nine months, no ten actually. Hahaha. Waktu baby keluar iolls tak menangis *tapi tengok one born every minute nangis*, tapi menangis ketika nak discharge from hospital. Boleh tak? So my take on giving birth is Alhamdulillah I had quite a good experience, good company (Hubs, gynae, nurses), everything was smooth and easy for my first born but to me the painful part of giving birth is the contraction. Only god knows how painful contraction is T_T. Somehow, I would love to experience it all over again if Allah wills it. InsyaAllah. And would I go to UKMSC again for the next one? Most probably yes and most probably not. I love my gynae and the super helpful nurses, but in terms of service (me having trouble getting a room?) its kind of slow and a bit sucky. Okay udahla bebel tu. Panjang lebor dah ne.
